Hi Guys. Is there a script or theme that allows swipe action to bring a separate panel without moving from the home screen? I wish I knew how to write scripts so that I could do this but I would be happy if there was someone to make this possible.
My idea is that I want a blank home screen but if I swipe down a panel from the top appears with widgets or whatever I need in it. Same pattern for all the other sides with the same swipe function. I was able to create a desktop like that but it was with the help of stop points and was not that smooth to run while it also had a lot of bugs.
Pierre Hébert would you please provide some sample code using getRootView to modify the hierarchy? Because I am not able to change anything of these views via script.

This may be a stupid question but I have a Note 3 with AMOLED screen which unlike backlit LCD screens is most battery efficient with black pixels. Is there a simple way I can get a black background theme with LLX?

Can someone explain why, after clearing data on the launcher, I get a graphical menu as in the first screenshot, but as soon as I load a template, the lightning menu is text?
Is there a setting somewhere that I’ve missed, or is this a bug?
Somebody posted here the other day about static text and it was suggested to use a dummy LLX shortcut. Would there be any memory savings over using a do nothing Zooper widget which is what I’m currently using? In other words does a shortcut use less memory than a “text only” widget?
