Hello Lightning Lovers.

Hello Lightning Lovers.

After hours of work i deleted excedently a Panel. I was in the wrong layout.

Has LLX an undo function? @ the dev. If not, is it possible to make such an option? Just one step back is enough.

nope theres no undo button because just as easily as the panel was deleted another can be put in its place.

Ok. I see. But the panel wasn’t empty. It took me a few hours to make it and of course i didn’t saved it. I am just a newby. But i like LLX. I am getting the hang out of it.

I am sorry but undo is beyond my capabilities. In the case of folder/panel, undo is not really undo but rather “do not do it until some point but make as if it has been done”, and that’s a different story. The existing OK/cancel confirmation is about the best I can do.

So will you finally implement some type of undo with delete? Perhaps another flag of items ‘deleted’ that will hide them from the desktop, from the hierarchy menu and from everything. Then you just need to keep them only in memory without saving, so when the launcher restart they will be automatically deleted (if this is somehow possible)

Of course a new menu ‘deleted items’ will be visible in general settings to restore them.

    …Well, just an idea.

When I’m working on a new setup, my “undo” is simply to make a back up after I finish an element, before I go on to the next. You can overwrite the same backup as many times as needed.
