Hi Pierre Hébert !

Hi Pierre Hébert !

From today I have mouse and keyboard (both bluetooth) and external device for wireless display (by HDMI to TV).

and my ideas for implemets:

1) add to settings this new option – show in status bar icon (HOME) (yes/no), after click to this icon doing action sets for home button. i have phone now about 2 meters from me and not have phyzical home button 🙂 on mouse…

2) By mouse I cannot doing double finger swipe (top, bottom, left, right). Can you add some function – if mouse is connected, show on desktop some virtual button for double finger swipe (when is setted)? Because I cannot go to different desktop than home desktop (by mouse).

3) ZOOM in/out by mouse not working 😉

4) Is it possible doing something as profiles? I have set desktop and app drawer for 5″ display… But on 101cm TV is terrible. i KNOW, I CAN SET different desktop with different grid, but what doing with app drawer, folders, panels? i MEAN SOMETHING AS 1:10 etc.

good idea and maybe we can add this feature for ALL devices not just ones with certain systems. might encourage me to start updating llx again.

Maybe if user have wireless display to on, enable only landscape layout to wireless display.

Keyboard and mouse do not fit so well in the mobile user interface paradigm. IMHO a mouse without a pointer is the bad thing on a touch device where half of the interactions are based on swipe gestures, and a keyboard is like a hammer to kill a fly.

Anyway I have none of them, at the moment my only suggestion would be to remap keys or events so that they match home, back or other key.

Profiles are not possible. Well, this is possible, but not the right way to do and above the launcher. Some elements could be adjusted for surface/density changes, but most other UI elements can’t.

Hhm, someone explained me once that ‘focused’ in item-settings was for non-touch devices. Just like all android TV-HDMI-sticks. They have a remote with a D-pad like most keyboards have.

I personally tried side-loading on my sony-GTV but LLX would not start 🙁

Exactly, focused state was added for devices with a dpad (not a keyboard but a generic 5 buttons controler like the nexus one or the gtv). I am sorry it does not work anymore on the Google TV. Were you able to send a crash report ?

I’ll try again. My first try was some time ago. I don’t think it did.

Nope, No crash report. But No worries. It’s still v3.2 If after a few months theres still no sign of v4.x to download, the whole thing will be out the window.

speaking of BTHF i have a a2dp btr that i use to stream music to my stereo. you can use something like that for your computer speakers unless you already have a stereo with BT functionality.
