I added another thing in my appdrawer script (Version 2.4):
Grouping items by their first letter (see screenshot).
Feedback greatly appreciated.
The feature is probably not finished. Tell me what options you would like to have, or which bugs exist!

As usual: the update may take up to one day until it is available to you.

Good idea
Could you set another thing : custom sorting
Setting a code for each prog and availability to change it

I don’t understand: What do you mean with code and prog?

Love this. Will the script in the repository also be updated? http://www.pierrox.net/android/applications/lightning_launcher/wiki/doku.php?id=script_app_drawer

I feel like a future update should improve the current app drawer and add your scripts as options. I don’t really like how limiting it feels currently compared to the rest of the launcher and the My Drawer thing never seems to work right for me.
Personally I want 12 or so most used apps at the top in a grid. Followed by an alphabetical list of apps separated by letters like that. I’d also want a scroll bar type thing to the right with the letters on so its quick to scroll to the right area.
Swiping left or right would limit the search to certain categories such as social, productivity, games, system etc. Another cool feature would be gesture search so making letters with your thumb would search instead of having to use the keyboard. Not sure how doable that would be though…

James Coyle i like your ideas, although I would like it better of these became features of the appdrawer script, because this appdrawer can exist in desktops so also my homescreen.
There are already script for sorting apps by categorie and gesture recognition, so these features are certainly possible, but I wouldn’t expect them in the near feature.
But also for now: very nice work! Lukas Morawietz

Lukas Morawietz I meant app (for prog)
And code is for sorting (aplha value)

Bruno-Isa LAMOUR-ARNOULD It doesn’t really make sense to provide such a system. The next version will contain a setting to turn off sorting altogether though. Then you can sort them yourself.
