I believe Nougat just arrived on my phone but I haven’t upgraded yet. Is LL expected to work fine on Nougat or should I upgrade to 14a4?

I only tested on the emulator (I have no device with 7 yet).
By the way, is someone interested in multi-window support in Lightning? I made some experiments but I am not sure this would be so useful.

Pierre Hébert I am 🙂
In fact I was going to post some issues regarding the app drawer and multi window (it is stretched and with strange vertical side bars)
Also, as it is an app, when opening the launcher while in multi window the launcher is shown in full screen, but not the app drawer.
I know it can be done now easily with a folder with id 99, but currently on this device I’m still on the stable version, while testing the alpha on a secondary one. That’ll probably change though 😉

These strange bars are the color area drawn behind the status and navigation bar. Except that in this context it shouldn’t be done in the same way. At the moment I couldn’t find a reliable way to detect where the window is in the multi-window mode. This is needed to configure paddings, etc.

http://LL.getContext().isInMultiWindowMode() works for me (but I’m sure you already know this and it has other problems somewhere)
Wait, you said ‘where’, you mean the size?

Indeed, I mean the relative position on screen. Curiously there’s no trivial way to get the real rectangle for the window, all I get is the rect for the full window.

Pierre Hébert One thing I have noticed, I had long press back button to toggle status bar on previous android versions, that isn’t working on N.

For an unknown reason long presses of this key are no longer transmitted to the app. I couldn’t find a mention about this.

Okay, upgraded to Nougat yesterday and so far so good. All designs, events, and widgets are operating normally.
