Sorry for delay, am on vacation nearly without internet, did not know of this community.
Currently the only way I’m afraid is to enter each widget and adjust scale or better re-load widget.
LL restores widgets, yes, but their configurations are specific to the creator’s device’s screen. It’s a known issue and even Themer launcher which works closer together with ZW has these issues.
However I suggested a “hack” to Pierre Hébert to “correct” the essential parameters before restoring the ZWs. I created test templates, but cannot test on higher definition devices. Seemed to work. Pierre tried to implement in LL, but it did not work perfectly yet. Hope he can solve the problem, will do my best to help him, will be back home tomorrow.
Pierre Hébert Vacation is over, driving home tomorrow. Will take a look. I’m sure we will be able to solve that! I guess it has to do with top and bottom system bars. But different ratio between source and target screens can also be a cause. That I can test, have 768×1280, 720×1280 and 800×1280. Just let me know what calculations you are applying right now and I will investigate.
Pierre Hébert Will take a look once I’m back home and got some rest from the trip. Let’s close it here in the users’ community. I think we made clear enough the reported issue is known and been worked on 😋
Hmm, a solution will be to enter edit mode and try to resize all the widgets/items to fit the boxes.
Another better solution is to ask the author of the theme. Which theme is it?
This is Executive theme. It’s long to edit each widget…
Lutz Linke: all yours

(Also hope Google will release the Nexus soon, want a higher def device! 😝)
Well, after quite a lot of trials, the thing still behaves weirdly 🙁 The width is scaled correctly, but not the height.

Currently I use you latest formula with one difference: pref_widget_scale is always computed from the “base” scale 100%:
pref_widget_scale: 100 * (widget_width>widget_height ? ratio_width : ratio_height) / ratio_dpi;
It seems to me that the error is too big to be due to bars only. I tried to compensate this, but the height is really far from what it should be.
