Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7″
Android version: 4.4.2 KitKat
When viewing menu for an item in a panel with horizontal only scrolling, snap to page disabled, and seamless mode enabled, some items dissapear until I close the drop-down menu for the item.
I have determined that the items that dissapear are items that would not be viewable if seamless mode was not enabled in the panel settings.

This is because you enter edit mode, and in this mode items are always displayed at their “real” position only, otherwise you would never know exactly where your items are 😉
There are a few other unintuitive behaviors like this one. For more info long tap on the option in the setting screen.
Alright, thanks. Wasn’t sure if if was an intentional thing or a legitimate bug. Probably should have read the info first haha 😛
Pierre Hébert what about use the ‘honor pinned items’ (it will need a rename) to also show those items at the ‘ghost’ position in edit mode when it is checked?
I tried this because at first there was no check regarding the edit mode, and it was so confusing that I had to implement this behavior. There are also a few key controls that are difficult to adapt, like the handles.
