I was thinking, it wouldn’t be hard to take it to 3 color, or even 2, if the color count is an issue. Replace the yellow with a lighter shade of orange, and turn the blue to gray scale. Kevin Kosovich I had also thought about lightning for the fire. I think that could also be a possibility. Just throwing a couple of more ideas out there. I love it as is. This is my new #1, with Viggo’s as #2.

What I really like is the idea behind the rocket: it is fast (fastest ship on Earth), made with top-notch technologies and it will bring you to unexplored destinations.
However I didn’t think at Rocket Launcher neither, and I agree with Chris Chastain, there is a big conflict here.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even worry about it. There are so many apps out there that it would be almost impossible to come up with icon that didn’t resemble someone else’s. Haha! Having said that, perhaps having the lightning as the flame would be enough to set it apart? also, that would kind of be a play on words. “Lightning Launcher”, or for our German friends, “flash thrower”! LOL
