Thoughts? I’m working on it.
I want i to look very minimalistic, yet I want to reach as many of my morto common things as I can.
So, if I tap the SMS writing it opens Whatsapp. If I swype it, it opens a folder containing my other texting apps, which I use more rarely.
The “music” writing opens a folder containing spotify and the sony music app for local files, yet if I swype the Spotify icon, it opens a folder containing the widget. Photos is just a Gallery app, and web contains my browser and social media apps. The “C” is my camera, and if I swype it, the panorama shortcut opens. Which is handy, because the Sony panorama camera is cumbersome to get to when you need it quickly.
And the G is google search.
I’ll add more to it, this is a work in progress. Was thinking of adding different homescreens for different things, with different backgrounds. For example, one dedicated to photo modification apps.
But yes, uncluttered as I can.
But I’m pretty new to this, just wanted to see what you thought!

Nice! The colours all suit each other!
Good idea about th weather, though I don’t use the calendar much. I could put a “weather” shortcut whichetabes me to another homescreen with the weather widgets..

Rafael Villanueva some guys are here for any help on scripting
Why do you have Chrome and Opéra ?

Ricky Bozzi I found it in Play Store its the Pixel Icon Pack, I’m running android 4.4.2

Bruno-Isa LAMOUR-ARNOULD glad to here that 👍😊, I prefer chrome for browsing and opera for downloading and streaming.

I use Firefox for everything. It would be interesting to delve in to scripts. What exactly are they?
It’s a shame that Zooper widget seems to be dead, though

Ricky Bozzi scripts are everything you want them to be. But mostly they are used for dynamic content ranging from simple dynamic labels to complex animations.

I see. Do you need any knowledge in coding? If I could, I would love to script a sidebar similar to the one in Action Launcher. A side gesture, and an awesome sidebar app drawer pops out..it’s so intuitve. Do you think that’s possible? I’ve tried apps, but they’re all pretty crap in comparison..

You need coding knowledge to write scripts, but not to use them. A sidebar can be simulated with a folder and for the app drawer use the script integrated in my multitool.

In other words? This thing Action Launcher has, basically you swype right, and a scrollable alphabetical list comes up with all your apps. It’s an alternative app drawer. And it’s extremely useful.
To do the same thing with a folder, I would have to put every app in it..
Andwhat could I do with multitool?

My script does just that: put every app in it.

Awesome 😮 What it called, and how do I set it up? 🙂

Brilliant, nearly there! I can’t figure out how to put them all in one vertical list, instead of three side by side. Also, I’m having trouble setting the folder in a way that it begins at the top.

It automatically adjusts the position to the panel size. Just set it to one column.
Resize the panel to full height, the folder should follow.

Still not working 🙁 It’s stuck in the middle, and even if I have the sidebar in one colimn and one row, it groups them in three. I have vertical alignment to the top, and horizontal to the left. Could it be anything about the thickness?

The script does not fill the sidebar directly. Instead it adds a panel and fills that one. You need to edit the columns of that panel, not of the sidebar. Additionally, to trigger positioning leave the launcher once.

Ok! Also, it seems that having a folder positioned the same way instead of a sidebar is better. It does the exact same thing, and is easier to organize
