As a recommendation: what about, before unlock the screen, check if the device is locked or not. If it is, unlock. If not, run the setPin script.
This way change the pin is as easy as do the code while not locked 😉

theres an error with the check-pin script. for safety reasons i added the standard unlocker to the script and i actually had to use it because i got an error at the 1st key press. somewhere between setting the code and checking for it theres an error. otherwise its ready.
