Kinda like it. But… if I may say… “Power” button (bottom left) should be light, too dark. And Lucent icons are too strong, would look better without the border, dark on light tile, glyphs the same size as the icons at the border.

I like that concept too. Very nice. Even though zooper and media utilities are incompatible with gb, I may just try that one as a starting point

Chris Chastain Thanks Chris, do you mean Gingerbread ? if yes you should think about buying a newer device 😉

Chris Chastain the sad thing is that generally upgrading a GB device to ICS or later results in poor performances 🙁 It works, but slowly. As for myself I had to give up my beloved Motorola Milestone (aka Droid) because jumping to 4.0 was a too big step…

Chris Chastain Pierre Hébert i dont’t know which device chris is using. perhaps their ist excisting a custom-rom with 4.4.2 for it.

i have an “old” motorola xoom which is now running with an omnirom 4.4.2 better than ever.

but nevertheless a newer device would be the better decision. e.g. a moto g is not that expensive and seems to me a good phone. with 16gb 😉 but if you like you can spend more money ;-))

Pierre Hébert my experience exactly, when I used cm9 for awhile. I honestly am ok with 2.3 except for zooper and media utilities… Well a couple more too I guess.

gerd reuter yeah at this point I’ve seen better phones in $100 (US) range, or less. I’m running out of excuses not to spend.
