Open folder long press inside it then press the + button then press app then long press the first all you want to add now your in multi select mode just tap all the other apps you want to add then press the + button to add them all at once.

Jay M not working inside My Drawer. All options, with the exception to add folder are greyed out. On the desktop, it is adding apps to the desktop and not to the folder. ..

  3. You can’t do it in My Drawer.

On the desktop… Sounds like you skipped the first 2 steps that Jay M mentioned.

    Open folder

    long press inside it

Chris Chastain so will My Drawer be always cluttered with apps? I’ll have another go with the folders on Desktop…

  5. No, but you have to drag and drop to folders in the app Drawer.

Chris Chastain ah! That’s a tedious process takes me back a few years in time. ..thanks Chris

Another question. ..I don’t need all the widgets, but I do rely on a selected few, is it possible to assign a widget to a single app inside a folder than assigning a widget to a screen or a folder?

Jay M error message: this post couldn’t be found…

  9. Rishi Saran that post is in the main Lightning Launcher community, which is private and apparently you are not a member. Just go here https://plus.google.com/communities/111427002111904170930 and request membership.

Chris Chastain thanks Chris. Membership requested. But I’m finding folder management quiet tedious a process here. Another thing that I would love would be the ability to swipe over an app shortcut inside or outside a folder and the assigned widget to pop up…to go away via a swipe or by tapping on the back key…is it possible with this launcher. ..I know it is with Action Launcher 3 and Smart Pro 3 Launcher. ..

  11. Rishi Saran I also came from Action Launcher, what I typically do for this is to create a folder with the name of the app, give the folder the icon of that app, place the Widget within the folder and assign an event such as swipe up or down on the folder icon to open the app. Also can use different swipe to open a shortcut related to the app, such as enter a To-do for ToDoist. Not quite the same but it works well for me.

  12. Actually I forgot you can configure the folder to open the app on tap and reserve a swipe to open the folder/Widget so it would be exactly like Action Launcher but of course more flexible as you can insert multiple widgets in the folder and have varied swipe actions

  13. I often put widgets in a panel, so they can be scrolled into, or out of view, or scrolled to a different widget.
