I’m feeling kinda stupid. There has to be something I’m missing. on my home screen, there is a kwgt with 3 shortcuts. the middle shortcut opens the app drawer. the problem is that i also need a long press and a swipe action. because kwgt doesn’t allow such actions, i have to place a ll shortcut and set the appropriate actions. because i already have a shortcut to open the app drawer using kwgt, i elected to not assign a tap action to the ll shortcut. But now i can’t open the app drawer because the ll shortcut is blocking the kwgt. So how do i set up the ll shortcut so it passes through and taps the kwgt on tap?

Why not just set the LL shortcut to open the app drawer on tap, along with the long tap and swipe actions. Then adjust the size of the LL shortcut (detach from grid and “pin” in position) to completely overlay just the middle button of your KWGT?

Michael P. Jackson Another way i could do it is to unassign the middle shortcut so it’s just an image and assign it on tap to the ll shortcut. i just thought of that , but was also trying to avoid it as i already signedit to the kwgt beforehand.

Personally, I would leave the KWGT, as is, for simplicity. The only reason I would even worry about exact sizing of the LL Shortcut, is to align the touch area to the visual layer underneath, so it responds exactly as one would expect.

Michael P. Jackson The only reason I’m doing this at all is because I had my default home assistant set to autovoice recognize (tasker plugin) and it keeps giving me crap. Sure, it works….. until i reboot my phone. every time i reboot it screws up. it acts like it’s going to work and then nothing. i have to go into my settings and make it my default all over again regardless of the fact that it’s already my default. ok fine. I decided to just use a long press action on the app drawer. OOPS KWGT DOESN’T ALLOW LONG PRESSING!!!! so now i have to add an actual ll shortcut over it just to get the long press action. but now i can’t get behind it to do the standard press. So i have to remove the kwgt element i added in favor of the ll shortcut for that as well.
