Anyone here know if I can make a folder with white writing and a black outline?

Anyone here know if I can make a folder with white writing and a black outline? So far I haven’t found out how, I only have the white writing.

I want to do it because it just makes it more visible on the background.

You can tweak the shadow on the text for something of an outline. Not perfect, because it gets less sharp the bigger you make it. That’s the only way I know.

Ok thanks, I tried it, but I was in a hurry and couldn’t find the right settings. Do you know them off the bat?

I know LL allows basic HTML, but you’d need CSS to do that. It’s weird that it’s not in the settings.

not really, it will depend on font size and background color. It MAY not even be enough of a visible contrast to be worth messing with.

Outline is not directly supported within Android, as a consequence to produce outline the text must be drawn twice manually with varying paint settings. As the shadow option can indeed simulate outline (use a 1 or 1.5 radius, x and y offset to 0 and any contrasted colors) I didn’t bother to implement a real outline option. As for myself I use this shadow option on my home screen to improve readability.
