Chris LEE I’m a noob, but I don’t think it’s possible, thru LL maybe thru TASKER, but I still couldn’t help you with that? They only way I could see it happen if you could only lock and unlock the homescreen and all other screens/desktops could only be edited from the homescreen, then you would need another way if getting to those screens without scrolling or swiping?

Just map the empty space long press to something else.

And worst : lock is only for locking existing items, it doesn’t lock the possibility to Add item.

Perhaps a password could be fine on Unlock or a gesture like in Nova Launcher.

Thought so, So basically he doesn’t want that menu to popup? If thats the case then do what I said^ I just tried it and it works fine just need to make sure you have an alternative way of popping up that menu.

Note mapping it to unset will make the menu popup to disable it you have to map it to anything but unset.

In order to efficiently lock the screen, there are four steps to do (assuming you are in the default config):

    – in the desktop events, set “Long tap on empty space” to “Do nothing (Lock))”

    – in the desktop events, set all swipe events to “Do nothing (Lock))”

    – in the items properties, make sure that no item is selected, and set the long tap event to “Do nothing (Lock))”

    – remove the app drawer icon

After that, modifying the setup will become a bit harder, so be careful 😉
