Try to add a dynamic text.

Maybe I’m in the wrong forum, I’m just a Lightning Launcher user. I expected a number, as some other launchers can display a number there.

This question has been asked before. The solution is to add a new item (the dynamic text item) and place it near the dialler.

Configure the dynamic text to display the unanswered calls.

I can post a step by step if you need.

I’m confused… Do you want llx to make changes to the screen while you’re using the stock Launcher, not LL?

Or are you asking how to get missed call, Gmail, etc. “badges” e. g. on the app icons while you’re using llx as the launcher?

If it’s the latter, add a dynamic text item to the screen, and select the type of information you want to display from “customize item/More” screen.

Well, if I am correct, it

    – seems to be manual process

    – seems to be an LLX only feature

Pretty much everything in llx is manual, which is sort of the point… and why it appears to the uber-nerd niche market. The good news is, if that’s not your thing, there are a lot of skilled nerds out here who have already done the work… Somebody here has probably already created a template that does what your looking for…

I think he’s talking about badges, have a look in the tutorial section I show how to make them.

Herman Munster I think he might have been hoping for a less labor-intensive way to do it… 😛

No, I am OK with labor-intensive ways, though automatic is better, when properly used. LLX only is a problem

AFAIK the LL version was discontinued
