So I copied a template I liked online from a designer to the LL folder.

So I copied a template I liked online from a designer to the LL folder. Restored it. Customised it to my liking. Got everything setup the way I want except for the “all apps” shortcut. Now even though it shows all installed apps, it also shows quite a few apps that I have never installed. It’s really annoying. Is this a bug? Or are these remnants of the original designer’s installed apps that he used as hotspots for his widgets? Even if they are, there has to be a way around this.

If you’re talking about the app drawer, open it and click refresh. If you’re talking about the desktop, just delete the (I’m assuming) shortcuts.

App shortcuts are exported and remain when importing. In some cases it might be annoying, I agree, but in other cases it’s plausible to keep them so if app is not installed the user can choose an alternative.

Personally I often clean up, but keep some app links just for demonstration purpose.

Thakns for the tip. I’d keep those apps if I could but I’ve got OCD… 🙂 Anyway, so what you guys are saying is that I have to manually delete the imported shortcuts. Ok. Good to know. Thanks for the help.
