Hi

Hi,

I have a problem with a side panel I made.

It is a full screen size side panel, I put a widget on the top half part of it, and some clickable texts on the bottom half.

I resized everything to make it match what i want by pinching the screen in edit mode, saved the folder style, and saved the whole LL theme.

But if for exemple I reboot my phone, then the positions of my widget and clickable texts in this full screen side panel are messed up.

How can I fix this ?

Thanks

Google+ just send me now a notification of a new post. The post have 6 days.

    Good job Google+, good job.

Instead of zooming just resize the items. Detach them from the grid for more exact adjustment if needed.

    Any solution ? 🙂

When you say that they are messed up, what exactly do you mean?

  4. I mean that the positions arent the same and the size of everything is bigger. I will try to resize everything instead of zooming, but i think it is a bit tricky to get things at exact positions and not moving.

  5. Now I tried to resisze everything instead of zooming, I am facing a new problem, maybe linked to the previous one, I am not sure. I setup my side panel, wich is a full screen side panel, I resize everything as I want ( my widget + my texts ), put them in position without zooming or anything.

Then when I close edit mode and watch this panel, the position of everything isn’t matching the position of everything when in edit mode. I dont get why the position I give in edit mode change when I get out of edit mode.Everything stay with the same scale, but everything move up to about +100 pixels in Y position.

    Any idea ?

That’s because you are placing the items not in the main page. You need to have the home icon at the top left. If you double tap the background you will toggle between zoom 100p and zoom all.

Let’s explain this a bit: a panel is a container, and so it can scroll and zoom. By default it is set at 0,0 and with scale 1. If you zoom or scroll, it will change and will stay that way until a restart. That’s your problem.

Folders on the other side have an own behavior: they automatically scroll to show all the items.

You need to make sure that you place the items the way you want, while in 0,0 scale 1. To make sure you are that way you can double tap as I said, or even set a shortcut to 100p.

  7. Ok this is a point I did not notice. I am on the main page, but not zoomed at 100p. I will redo it, it seams to fix it. I will let you know 😉

    Thx
