So, in having a big issue right now.

So, in having a big issue right now. With lightening launcher installed, I will randomly either go back to my desktop or I will go to the tab screen to show all the open apps, except it will be blank. On rare occasions I will also randomly revert to the default launcher home screen. This happens at least once or twice a minute.

I can give any version info or installed apps, but this only started happening shortly after I purchased and installed LL. Any help would be appreciated, because this is very troublesome.

    So uninstalling LL fixes it?

The default launcher thing is an Android bug see the LL playstore description for the fix.

Jay M haven’t tried uninstalling yet. I’ll see off the issue continues after I do. I’ll come back here with an update later today.

Also, which Android version is Jellybean? I have 5.0.1, do I still need the launcher loader thing in the LL description?

5.0.1 is Lollipop so no you dont need it. IIRC it only effects JB, if your using a custom ROM it might be something to do with that. That’s why I asked if uninstalling the launcher fixes it.

Jay M ok, so finally uninstalled it, and that seems to have fixed the problem. I haven’t been booted to home once yet so, I’m not sure if it’s just getting confused and thinking when I’m tapping on the middle of the screen that I’m tapping on the system bar at the bottom (im on an LG G3 so the home and menu buttons are part of the screen) or what’s going on.

I’m not using any custom scripts or anything, I’m certainly no coder, I can barely manage LUA in minecraft, which isn’t even completely real LUA.

Elderon Analas it’s Lua not LUA 🙂 and for information, this is Lua at it’s full power (embedded in a running system) but this isn’t the subject here :p

Elderon Analas, do you live close enough to another time zone that your phone might be alternately connecting to towers in different zones?

I’m currently trying to trouble shoot the exact same issue.
