i would change the request in “it would be possible to add a badge for a generic app?”. Try to post it on Lightning Launcher community (not this one), maybe you can get better and faster reply 😉
Long tap empty space, or hold menu button then hit the (+) button. Select (badge) to add the badge, then long press the badge, tap the (pencil) icon, select properties, and swipe over to (data) to choose what data for the badge to display. You can also choose to hide the badge when the data is empty.
Exactly that is my Problem. There is no option “whats app” in that menu.Â
Christian Hunter​ well I don’t use whats app. I have message+ plus set as my default messenger and using sms works fine, so if you have whats app set to default it should work. If it doesn’t work I’m sure you can use Tasker integration to handle this.
