Oh yea before I forget to ask again, when you got one desktop loaded good and make more desktops with the same widgets in it, do same widgets in the other desktops not in use still full running a foreground, visible/perceptible, paused, restarting, etc.. Process/service? I know if all in one launcher, even when not on the widget’s screen, it’s most always on a full foreground running state. But what about desktops, when u leave one do the widgets chill out? Kinda like popup widget 2 kinda pauses the full foreground state until the widget is fully visible and the widgets jus update on each popup. I’m curious to how many of the same widget I can pack in different desktops before it gets overwhelming, or if it ever goes past the state in jus one desktop. Did any of that make sense lmao? Bare with me and my horrible ADD a lil longer, I’m trying not to aggravate the whole damn community too much. Thanks everyone for all your help, never thought I’d get this far😅😅😂😂 Oohhh yea very important question for me…. I heavily rely on All in one gestures, I use it more than anything cuz my nav buttons are sooo damn precise and I have big fingers and constantly miss them.. So instead I flick the screen edge in different directions… But I have never been able to use a third-party lock screen because it does not disabled for anyone other than the stock locker. Why the developer hasn’t put a black list and it is beyond me because that is essential, but I need this one too damn bad not to use it. Is there a way around this with lightning? To make those areas of the screen edges not respond on the lock screen? I’m thinking probably not

Unfortunately widgets take resources, even if the app hosting them(the launcher) is not running. And when the launcher is running, it receives update for all widgets, no matter whether they are visible or not, there is no way to suspend or pause them, even if they have never been displayed since the app start.

Regarding the nav bar I guess you can do something when rooted or maybe with xposed, but I can’t tell exactly what would be the step to do that.

Pierre Hébert that was what I thought, so it’ll be worth a few extra minutes to delete any u wanna use in another desktop. Well for me I like to make different arrangements of similar setups and I’ve always jus used separate launchers and hibernated all but the one I’m using.. I only asked that because popup widget 2 for example claims the widgets do not run at all (well any more than the smallest idle background service) until actually visible on the screen, and update only when launched. I’m wondering really to what extent that has any kinda small fact even if they jus didn’t word the thing I read right. But I do know the information showing on the widget does not update until visible jus from watching closely, but I asked because I was thinking like you said that it was still updating behind the scenes. Anyway thanks, jus wanna make sure I have the right stuff going on lol
