Also, to be more detailed in my complaint. It’s only when I push a button or icon and it would be a second or less before the action would take place. If I use another launcher it’s pretty much instantaneous.

They both open pretty fast. Only seems to come from clicking on icons to open apps. The icons animation starts and then a second later the app opens. Odd.
