I add a panel, then add some items (shortcuts inside) and then pin the panel.

I add a panel, then add some items (shortcuts inside) and then pin the panel. Panel is pinned but items inside not. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Pin the items too? I’m not sure if I got you right…

What’s the sense in pinning a panel if I have to pin items too? I thought all panels attributes applies to items too.

Are you sure the item is in the panel? I can’t reproduce your problem.

I’m trying to create smth similar to dock. So I created a panel 1×5, pinned it, added 5 shortcuts inside by dragging and dropping. But when I slide desktop panel stays at the place but icons inside move.

In edit mode, if you move the panel, are the items moving also? I am not sure you have the items inside the panel, I think they are over the panel.

Disable scrolling inside the panel then.

Pinning a panel and letting items scroll is useful to get a scrollable dock.

No, they’re not moving. What is the right way of adding items into the panel?

When you drag&drop, wait a bit over the panel before dropping.

Pierre Hébert , how can I disable scrolling inside the panel? Sorry, it’s just half an hour I bought LL, need to get used to parameters locations.

Another issue. I found a way to disable icon labels on desktop, but inside panel they appear again. Shall I disable one-by-one or there is global panel option?

    Ruben Sukiasyan Yes.

Long press inside the panel then select the three – button ( Burger button ) then do the same thing you did for the desktop.

Edit: I am wrong, but there is a way to do what you want just enter edit mode inside the panel, I think you try to edit the panel icon. You will see a house inside the panel when you enter panel edit mode.

Ruben Sukiasyan Edit layout on panel. Keep focus on panel, do not select anything inside panel. Edit label etc settings, these are the defaults .

Bogdan Tautu , for desktop I edited “Display the label” option in Text section. Panel doesn’t have such a section.

As Lutz Linke said, go to edit mode of panel, and don’t select any item inside panel.

Now any settings you make are defaults for panel (or whatever container).

Be aware that any item already customized individually will NOT be affected by these default container settings.
