I think you should use two items for the two lines. I also think we should be able to group/ungroup items to make moving and rotating easier.

I agree. You could make the label how you want then add a text only item for the other.

That would also give you the ability to have two different colored fonts.

Just an idea, in custom view you can show an online web page. That is Html. If you make a local html file, you can show that also in custom view.

This could work but this is expensive. At the moment two shortcuts is best. Grouping would be the right way to handle this properly.

Yes Pierre Hébert   if you mean by expensive it is more work, then yes.

I tried with the web-weather-widget script from Jappie Toutenhoofd

and it works, Cool. Made in tasker some kind of real simple html editor, so I can easily update that html file.

But just for 2 lines maybe 2 labels is the best solution.

I mean expensive because the webview takes a lot of resources (memory in particular).

    But this is powerful.

Evelien Wijbenga  Thanks for the idea. I will look into it, although I am still newbie with LL and haven’t tried Custom View yet. HTML format, will be an awesome solution.

However, my concern always come on the ram, process and battery. Isn’t the custom view heavier than the text/shortcut?

At the moment, I am so happy with what I have achieved. LL & Tasker are the best and must have companion in any device, it saves me asking developers to add options to their application.

Thanks to Pierre Hébert and  Lee Wilmot (Pent the developer of Tasker)

Abdullah Alahdal I am also still a newbe with LL. But this is cool, so many great ideas and scripts. sometimes a puzzle how to use them. But these are the puzzles I like. (althought I can’t script) even with Html it has to be simple at the moment. But i have a friend who’s willing to teach me Html. So I can later on, help with his website.

    🙂

Pierre Hébert, your reply is enough for me to stop thinking of Custom as a solution for this case. Thanks.
