Is it possible to password protect the app drawer?

Is it possible to password protect the app drawer? For certain reasons, I do not want to use the lock screen. I just want the user to be prompted to enter a password when attempting to access all apps. For this to make any sense the user would also need to be prompted to enter a password when long pressing on the desktop screen to customize (e.g., adding actions, etc.). Not sure if this is possible but thought I’d ask because this would be extremely useful to me.

  1. I’m not sure if there is a locker app which locks specific activities. You’d definetly need root to make it secure.

Yes, I am rooted. I’m not crazy about the locker apps I’ve seen, which is why I was wondering if it was possible to implement a script through Lightning Launcher. I’m not necessarily looking for total security–just something that would prompt for a pw when the user attempts to view apps using LL.

  3. MaxMaxLock should be a good choice. I think you can lock single activities with it.

Thanks. Looks promising. I’ll try it out.
