I’m just starting to try to figure out some of the more advanced things that can be down with LLX. I think I have a good idea of how Sliding Folders works except for the rectangle box at the bottom. Is that a 9patch thing?

Ron Andreasen & Chris sledge the box on the bottom of the screen looks like a styled shortcut icon. I added a shortcut in edit mode, chose LL action and click do nothing. Resized the shortcut by using the toggles on the sides. Next long tapped my box, selected customise, copy style and tapped on Pierre’s box, copying his setup. No idea how he managed to get the gradient background, my guess is he applied an overlay.

Chris sledge that’s a good idea ! But then I will need to unpublish the template since it will be useless 😉

Regarding the box at the bottom Sergio Azar is right : this is a shortcut to ll action “do nothing”, not clickable, enlarged so that it spans 5 columns and not clickable. The gradient is done with a nine patch from AOSP called gallery_selected_default.9.png. Then I moved this item to the bottom layer and added a few items on top of it
