I thought I got somewhat familiar with Extreme settings but now, after an update I have realized I can script the launcher. However, I cannot find any option where I can script. Can anyone help me find it or a good manual according to which I can learn it?

LL Action now can “Run script”.

In the app drawer ( All Apps ) you will find Script editor.

If you want to learn scripting, you can look in the wiki.

There you’ll find the API reference and some scripts you can use as example.

However, if you never programmed anything, you should start by learning JavaScript, or a similar programming language

Thanks a lot for the quick help, I have found run script, some help and, luckily enough, I have good experience in JavaScript. One more thing that I thought was a bug but I might have made something wrong or my mobile would be too weak? For almost a month, since I have been using Lightning Extreme, it takes a long while to change desktops or even to switch on my mobile: it blacks out, then, after a while it works. Sometimes, there is even a warning option to turn off or wait for Lightning Launcher. I’ve got a Sony Xperia L, dual-core 1 GHz processor. As a matter of fact, I’ve got a lot of apps and very few space but I think my mobile is fast enough for a Lightning-fast laucher. Is there any trick or is my mobile that slow? (By the way, I use Vortex Live Wallpaper which is very small and fast, I do not think it is the problem.)

    Use “keep lightning running”.

It may help also to delete some desktops or whole launcher data (and rebuild your setup), but I assume you don’t want to do that…

If your free space is really low, lightning can’t use cache as it should, that may slow down too.

thanks, Keep Lightning running is on, I tried without it as well, it does not help if it is on or off (and the same applies to Minimize memory usage). Probably I should reduce the number of apps installed but my heart breaks to do so;-(

Could it be linked with widgets ? I had this problem a while ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled the widget provider (zooper) and everything went fine after.

I use several widgets (weather, dashclock, calendar etc.) on their own without widget provider. Should I uninstall and reinstall them? (Quite a lot of work;-(

And as I remember, I had two Android updates since I’ve been using LLX, without rebuilding the desktop. Can it be a problem?
