Occasionally I must do a hard reset of my phone (it freezes or what not). When I do so, I lose all my widgets. That are all still in place, but I must manually set them up to my liking again. Is there a way to safe widget settings?

As far as I know, you have to do that from the settings for the widgets themselves; for example, Minimalistic Text lets you save widget templates so you can reload them later (or duplicate them, or whatever).
There may be a better way to do this, but if there is I don’t know what it is.
