Open app drawer go into edit mode press the paintbrush icon scroll to last page and untick rotation. (Should be off by default IMO) its kinda annoying but I understand why its enabled as default.

Ok, how do I get into edit mode. when I hit menu, the only thing that pops up is the box for refresh, settings, etc..

Change view to my drawer, scroll to bottom, longpress on blank area.
