The wallpaper/background color set on a floating desktop is not shown when the desktop is viewed in the floating form. Is that a bug, intended behaviour or a limitation of what can be done? I’m assuming the easy workaround is to put everything in a panel.

There’s an issue with window background on some Android versions and devices (not well identified, I can see it on a 4.3 sony device but not with the same device running CM). Instead of a panel you can use a blank item and put it at the bottom of the stack (cheaper).

Pierre Hébert i have 4.4.2.
If i set LL wallpaper (not system wallpaper), this LL wallpaper working good. Background color working only in normal mode for desktop. But if is desktop opened as floating screen, i see only LL wallpaper. Color isnt visible.
