Hello
Hello,
I have a bug i never had on my tab and that I have with my new phone (i’m with last version of LLX on both tab and phone).
I had Facebook application installed but when I searched it in the Application Folder, I could not find it (even in the Running Apps while Facebook was running). I have resolved my issue by uninstalling and re-installing Facebook and then the icon appeared in the Application Folder only 1 minute after the installation was done (and facebook launched via the icone added to the home desktop).
I have not, so far, seen any other application installed but not displayed in the Application folder (but I have not checked all my apps).

you could have also resolved it by refreshing the app drawer if you didn’t already

it’s kinda annoying sometimes but it’s not a bug that I know of

no problem like I said it gets annoying at times but it’s not a bug. I think it has something to do with the way things are. I hate it too

It only happen to some users. Seems to be an android issue…yes, refresh is the best fix.

Yes, I don’t know what the root cause of this (no app udpate/install event). I tried autodetection of the problem, but as of today it didn’t work great…

Usually when we install a new application, it will create an icon on our home desktop after the installation. This morning, after uninstall / re-install facebook app, the facebook icon was created on my home desktop and the app was visible in the app drawer. But i’ml not sure that the icon was created in my home desktop the first time I installed facebook. So maybe there is a relation : the app is displayed in the app drawer only when the icon was created on the home desktop.
I’m not sure it may help anyway …

Eric Le Bourvellec I don’t think so.
The auto icon in the desktop is a Google play feature (a stressful one in my opinion) you can deactivate it in the Google play settings, I have it unchecked. And my app drawer works well.
