Do you want see something crazy?
Do you want see something crazy?
So tell me what ID the panel has: 0x000068 or 0x01000f ? YES, IT IS THE SAME PANEL!!!
Pierre Hébert have you ever somthing like that???

(Next Post) Can someone please help me with a script that launches the default recent apps menu like nova launcher does. »
0x000068 is the container ID
0x01000f is the item ID
Every folder and panel has two IDs.
In the case of a panel it’s one for the ‘placeholder’ and one for the container itself.
OH NO! :-O
I spend more than two hours thinking why my script doesn’t work….
Arg, Lukas Morawietz, you were faster 😛
Anyway I like my answer so I’ll post it:
Calm down, there is nothing wrong here.
If you are asking this is because a) you are relatively new to LL or b) you never realized this until now (starting to have fun with scripts? )
I can provide a single answer to this situation, if you want simply ask, but instead I’ll give you a hint to you to discover the reason of the dual-ids:
“What is a panel?
Is it an item? But you can put other items inside.
Is it a container? But you can edit it as if it were an item.”
Thou shall solve this riddle! But be aware: The answer does lie in your past already. 😀
Ok, I should stop reading that much fantasy…
TrianguloY I like your answer too!!!
Yes, b) option: I started using scripts only month ago.
