Can someone please help me with a script that launches the default recent apps menu like nova launcher does.

Can someone please help me with a script that launches the default recent apps menu like nova launcher does. I’ve searched everywhere I could think of and the one in the repository is for an older style recents and doesn’t scroll. Thanks in advance.

  1. Azariasz Trzciński this is more like an app drawer. I’m looking to emulate the recent apps button like nova launcher does. They only way I figured out how to do it so far is to actually have nova launcher installed and use their shortcut action which seems ridiculous when I don’t even use that launcher. Thank you for the reply though.

Azariasz Trzciński I use “Recent Apps Quick Button”: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=factory.widgets.recentapps

You can launch it via LL-Action and also can use it in LL-gestures. The widget it provides isn’t necessary and has a small size for install.

  3. Mirko Kohler Your link wouldn’t work for me (says ‘Not Found’) but I was trying to accomplish this through LL. If not why wouldn’t I just use my current workaround of just having Nova Launcher installed too and using the shortcut via LL?

  4. I know this is possible, I’m just not smart enough to figure out how myself.

  5. I’d imagine if we could figure out exactly what Nova Launcher is doing to trigger it, there’s no reason we couldn’t do the same.
