Refreshing didn’t do anything. Neither did clearing app data, nor a factory reset of the entire device. Look at calendar, calculator, and camera

I remember oreo changed how icons are defined, but I didn’t expect it to don’t be backward compatible.

In the meantime the only workaround is to manually select the icons from the icon picker, hope not many apps are broken.
