I know that you change the behavior of ‘go home screen’ but any option in ‘when pressing home button’ menu seems to do that.

Am I missing something?

The reason is that the back key has mostly the same power, and removing this default behavior on the home key frees it for better navigation schemes.

That’s what I thought. Now I just need to get used to it.

Oh, I saw that when you select ‘open app’–> ‘lightning launcher’ in the home key. After pressing it several times the launcher freezes a bit.

Ok, but, since the Home key is now more configurable, why isn’t there an option to restore the behavior?  Now, the Home key does nothing when a folder is open, how is that better?

Because back does it, there is no need to have two keys for that. And the old behavior was a mess : it didn’t only close folders, but also exited the edit mode, close the menu, and a few other unrelated things
