In the ‘Folder windows’ / ‘current folder windows’, when you first open it, the ‘size of selected areas’ and the ‘normal color’ boxes are not disabled.
You can change them, but nothing change.

I also discover that, if you select some areas in the box, you press Back and enter again the areas get unselected, but they are still selected in some way because you can edit their settings.
Could this be somehow related to the ‘color picker’ bug?

Chris Chastain unfortunately I don’t have a good solution yet 🙁 It only affects very few devices, and is not linked to the android version, hence it is not possible to automatically detect it. I can disable alpha for all gingerbread devices, but this is suboptimal 🙁
