I remember in the past this bug, or similar.

In the app drawer, I have ‘ghosts’ apps.

I have the app drawer with folders, all items are inside one folder.

Once, I have a disappeared app, so I pressed the refresh button.

What happened is that some more apps appeared outside the folders, in the app drawer. When I added them to their folders, I noticed they already where there! But they were only items with the same name and the default LL icon. And also there were uninstalled apps with the same (name and default icon)

So now I have in the app drawer some icons with the name of apps, but the icon of LL. Checking with a backup all of them are desktop bookmarks (“#Intent;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=net.pierrox.lightning_launcher_extreme\/net.pierrox.lightning_launcher.activities.Dashboard;i.p=145;f.s=1.0;f.x=0.0;f.y=0.0;end” where 145 is sometimes 8, my main panel/desktop each)

Pressing the refresh button don’t delete them.

I can easily make a script to check for those apps and delete them (I think I can delete apps from the app drawer…never checked) but it’s strange the refresh button does nothing, that’s why I’m posting this bug report.

Trying to understand the cause, I have (in the panel 145 in the desktop 8) an item with a script that takes a random app from the app drawer, and sets it’s icon and intent to that one. Could be that, when the app drawer is still not loaded after a restart, getting an uninstalled app from script does that strange thing?

I can send backup and script if necessary.

This is a funny bug… But if it does only happen on refresh, then it shouldn’t be too hard to fix.

No need to mention, I receive a notification for new post. Don’t know whether this is a standard g+ configuration though.
