Not sure if this is supposed to be this way.

When I have the nav bar with content overlap, the bottom editor bar is placed above the nav bar (which is ok) but as you can see in the screenshot the size is computed using the nav bar space, so the editor bar is placed above the desktop.

    This is wanted, although not very good.


    The reason is not obvious. When the overlap option is on, we would expect to see the content until the top of the navigation bar. By doing so it means the vertical scale is defined by the height of the navbar and the horizontal scale has to be the same to keep the same aspect ratio, leaving an unpredictable width for the right side bar, and a gap until the right edge of the screen, or an overflow. It depends on the screen characteristics and orientation.

    Ah, so the overlapped part from the editor bar in edit mode correspond to the overlapped part of the nav bar in normal mode.
