it works for me on 12.8.1, I don’t know what the problem is. Could it be that the binding somehow conflicts with either the current panel box properties, or possibly a script ?

Strange. I tried it, and it didn’t work! I even disabled scripts, even the hardware acceleration, but nothing.
However I restarted lighting, I tried again now with “c:#ff0000ff” and then it worked!
The strange thing is, now it also works with red even with new items.
Takashi Watabe try to restart the app and try with a different color, maybe it will be fixed for you too.
