I keep asking about icon pack problems. In fact I should write this in “Feature Suggestion” section.

Here is what happens with “Motif” icons. First image is after applying, second image is after restarting LLX. This pack masks the unthemed icons succesfully in Nova and Action Launcher for example. Also reported a problem with “Placid HD” if you remember, it doesn’t show in the icon pack selection list. But it was ruled out as the pack being non-ADW.
Overall, a better icon pack support would be nice. Here are the images:
(PS: I remember you mentioning adding a restart option in LLX, but haven’t found it myself)
(Image order may be wrong in the post.)

Well, I have the same problem with the almost all of my icon packs, like, mango, portal pack, tondo, Up icons, and a lot more. Have the same issue as your every time I restart LLxtreme, icons get kind of mixed between stock and the pack that I applied..

Gustavo Luis Soto Yes I think these packs have masking feature for the applications which the pack doesn’t have an icon for. This way icons look similar. But LLX has problems with this feature.

Emre Erdogan In case you haven’t found it yet, Restart App is an action that you access via a tap or swipe. Go to the General settings then Events & actions then choose a tap/swipe… the options is on the bottom of the list.

Emre Erdogan in this case, it seems the inner scale is not applied. Try to adjust it manually, I will try to see what it is not set from the pack.

Grace-Ann Curby Thanks, though I think it is an odd way to restart the launcher 🙂
Pierre Hébert Well, those are normally the apps with no corresponding icons in the pack. But the pack does theme them by masking with its own frame (i think – not sure how it works) in other launchers.

The mask should not be applied only to apps without a corresponding icon. If the pack has already the mask embedded in its icons, then it prevents from customizing the mask. It may have been designed this way, but this is the wrong way. The pack should provide icons, and the launcher provides the mechanism to “encapsulate” icons with mask, overlay, scale, etc.
