   That’s because you are launching the script from an ‘absolute’ gesture/button (like two fingers down, menu button…) am I right?

   
   

   The problem is that the script is trying to get the container from the event.

   
   

   So, you need to launch the script from the long tap in the desktop (also from any of their items)

   
   

   Or, if you want to use the current desktop you can add this line in line 9:

   If I understand correctly, then yes: set the position of the desktop where I wanted then menu->scripts->your script.

   
   

   Going into the edit mode and then long tap->scripts->your script  did work!

   
   

   Had no idea that accessing it from the menu might screw it up a bit.

   
   

   
   

   I’ll try to add it to the correct line and place, but it might be a good idea to add it to the original script. If one wanted to set the position to a place where there was a full page widget or no free room, then he/she would have to arrange some stuff, create the script and then put everything back in place (would be a hell probably if some items were in free mode).
