A style for item or for the container?
(yeah, I expect the answer can be: both)
Doing it by script is not that obvious because a few property changes require processing, for instance setting i.onGrid to false need to compute the item transformation according to the grid position, same for pin, etc.
Something related that I wanted to add is an enumerator on the PropertySet object. It would allow listing all known properties together with their data type. Would that help?
