I just discover that you need it…because portrait and landscape have different heights/widths.

So, if you want a folder in the half upper part of the screen…now you can only make it in portrait or landscape, not both.

Another solution will be to allow different values for portrait and landscape. (You’ll finally need to separate all. lol )

I have basically given up trying to do layouts that are valid in both portrait and landscape, and just lock into portrait.

I realize that some people with docks require it, but it’s so much work right now, I’ve decided to just wait until it’s fully supported.

Indeed, using relative values would solve some problems in this situation, and I will probably change folder options this way. But even with this I am not sure this will be enough, because portrait/landscape often need a fully distinct setup and I fear that duplicating all options will be a bit too much.

Another possibility I am thinking at, would be to be able to show/hide items, possibly with an animation. Doing so would enable the use of panels a bit like folders, but with more flexibility in positioning. I think that show/hide actions are really missing, what about this feature ?

Pierre Hébert that would be great…but panels are not allowed in the app drawer.

What I want is to have the app drawer this way: the bottom part full of folders, the upper part blank, so when the folders open they do it in the upper part. All is right, but only work well for portrait or landscape, not both.
