Onemore idea…

1) if user have small panel (for example 6×1) or folder (in folder this option exist now), and doing long tap and select edit layout…. open this layout in new popup window with full screens dimensions (maybe with title name – for example panel: named MyDockBar – if user have set). After tap to back or again select edit layout, doing close popup window to normal panel/folder dimensions.
2) If user is in normal desktop edit layout, show in title: desktop and his name (if have user set).
3) Allow to set home position on screen in folder, panel, desktop (set another position than default place)
4) allow have object (icon or widget) on portrait layout and not have on landscape layout. And vice versa. For example in + tap enable set: show in portrait and landscape layout (preset), show only in portrait layout, show only in landscape layout
5) in app drawer allow add tab and moved app to this tabs.
6) enable set for icons and widget – pin on all screens (Similar function as in single desktop, only with the difference that even if we pass to the next screen icon will also be there (at the same location)). For example pinned panel in all desktop (as dockbar).
7) in settings for scroll/zoom options: if user have set Snap to pages (yes) and now select to yes option Fit desktop to items, please automaticaly set to No option Snap to pages and vice versa.

#7 I think is not a good idea, because those two options work fine together.

Whoo, that’s a lot of suggestion, I feel a bit submerged…
1 is possible (and I tried it), but the problem is that since the grid layout stay the same for panels whatever their size is, it is not so useful. I think a full screen edition is needed, but I also need to enable dynamic grid change so that items keeps the same size.
2 i think this is linked with the desktop indicator (not present currently)
3 this is the same as moving all items, once multi selection is implemented I think this could be done this way.
4 at the moment I would recommend to just move the item out of view
5 is roughly the same as a top level folder but with another presentation ?
6 this is simply not possible 🙁
7 I agree with Chris Chastain both can work together

1) Maybe you can in this new popup window create border with demension from panel – what is in this border, those will be visible in panel. This popup window will be very comfortable. If i edit now panel, i must now doing resize panel, change icon to new place, and again doing resize to original size before editing.
2) for example if user edit folder layout, on top is visible folder name… Sometime i doing long tap with edit layout (by mistake) and i dont know quickly where i am.
4) yes, now user must set for this item pin change place from visible screen. Or add stop point set him barrier. And selected item put after barrier (but if user doing double tap for zooming still is visible).
5) classic tab… on top screen (probably under your blue line in app drawer) if user have some tap visible names of tabs. After clic to some name show only icons puted to this tab. Tab show in sorting: my drawer, alphabetical, or something else?)
6) Ok, maybe you can enable copy panel (with all settings and puted items) to other desktop.
7) My mistake, I did not realize that it can be combined.
