Sometime if user select from file and folder have many (or big) picture is visible only blank screen (on place where are normaly pictures, isnt anything) for long time
I know, i must waiting. But new user not know, where is problem. Please add some text… For example: Please wait, im loading pictures, or something else. Pierre Hébert

Hum… In theory image loading should be asynchronous. When I browse my DCIM folder the screen is displayed without delay and files are displayed blank (only the title), then thumbnails are displayed as they are loaded.
I believe that something else is taking time, but I don’t know what.

Really I have no idea. The only lengthy operation that I can imagine is querying the file names in the directory, but it should be relatively short even with lots of entries, and from what I can see it is already finished since it is done before to display the “UP” button.
Well, I’ll test with some automatically generated big directory, maybe something is wrong with sorting or view creation.
How many files do you have in your directory ?
