To clarify, long press the “All Apps” icon in the LLX drawer and select “Toggle Hidden.” This will of course only effect the LLX drawer but most likely this is what you are using.
I actually use a 3rd party app drawer (App Swap). While it does have a “hide app” tool, I wouldn’t mind being able to disable it permanently. In any event, it’s just a minor quibble.
