   If you e.g. plug your phone in or dock it and wait for the screen timeout the phone goes (if set so) into daydream mode, which is a bit like a screen saver,instead of turning the screen off. I don’t know since which Android version this is possible

   That’s an interesting idea. I never wrote daydreams previously, but according to the documentation it should be possible to do this
