Pin items relativ to wallpaper instead of desktop.
Panels in different shapes (circle, triangle, octagon)

Last ones already possible I think, using 9patch pngs. Same for folders. Not sure though I rarely use panels.

Multi editing is a requested feature, but it seems hard to code.
Pin items relative to wallpaper…interesting.
Panels in different shapes: perhaps add the ability to select a mask for them, and at the same time for widgets too (with a specific mask you can make it to be the strangest shape you want)
