v9.2.1

v9.2.1

A bunch of bug fixes and minor improvements, some of which were waiting for too long, but now it’s done !

Here is the list, in no particular order:

– fix truncated text when using italic or shadow

– fix auto scroll direction when moving an item in a panel

– better handling of scrolling with panels : a panel won’t prevent scrolling the desktop if it is not scrollable (a bit like widgets)

– fix an issue with first widget scroll after reboot

– fix “Not clickable” option with widget

– fix the keyboard management when searching apps in the app drawer, as well as the associated “condensed” screen effect

– fix size when moving an item in a folder/ or desktop that has never been opened before

– (attempt to) fix lockscreen not being displayed sometimes

– fix several issues with position of newly created items

– improved texts (menus and settings)

– fix translated texts (add/item/unlocker, customize screen now shows a meaningful and translated title)

– fixed a crash (desktop navigation action triggered in the app drawer through global events)

– warning message when selecting a lock screen

– add some feedback when copying a style from an item

– box editor: long tapping on a border will select/de-select all borders, same for margin and padding. Content select/de-select everything.

– box editor: improved visualization of overlapping content and padding areas

Update available soon…

Edit: 9.2.2 revert the panel scrolling thing.

Not yet available, but sounds very promising, many great improvements. Sometimes it’s the small things that have great impact (like box-editor). Thanks, Pierre!

Since the last update scrolling inside a panel in a panel is somehow broken. Hope that doesn’t sound weird. 🙂

In some cases scrolling left/right works, but mostly not.

Does it maybe have something to do with your fix on scroll-handling of desktop with panels?

Anybody know how to go back to prior version, at least there the scrolling worked. I can live with the other bugs for a little longer. 🙂

    It certainly has but…

In theory the panel will scroll if it can be scrolled, otherwise the container will scroll. This is checked by direction X or Y. Could it be there is something special with diagonal scrolling ?

Djamel Tayeb I strongly suggest not to downgrade (whatever the app is).

I couldn’t see any problem myself. Could you send me a template file ?

I tested it by building a new panel structure on different desktop. It produced the same outcome. What you mean with “if it can be scrolled”?

you mean if an object is out of range and the container has to scroll? If that is the case, yes that works, i tested that too. Then the scrolling does work indeed.

But i must admit i forgot to mention one thing, cause actually my configuration is 3x layered (panel in a panel in a panel). Please don’t ask why i did that. 🙂

In that case, i can’t scroll in the last panel, though it is possible, cause i have objects out of visible range in the last panel.

Good news about the lock screen warning. I made the rookie error of selecting a lock screen before putting any form of unlock on it, which basically meant I had to clear all LLX data and start from scratch! Doh! 🙂
