V12.5b1 beta
Edit: 12.5b3, 12.5b4 to fix bugs
Surprise! I have been silent about this new beta and its content, now it’s time to release this new beta. It has been mostly implemented since a while but… things are not always linear.
It’s all about what I am calling “bindings”. In short this is a way to set and animate items properties using variables.

Bindings can be seen as an easier to use interface for settings properties, much simpler than scripting. Under the hood bindings use scripting features, and as a consequence, variables can read and written through scripts too. And variables can be set from Tasker and other third party apps too.
This first implementation is deliberately reduced. I especially plan to extend the collection of “builtin” variables with notifications and system data. Progress will be slow though.

Something is going wrong with this update. I lose all settings including binding after reboot. I also lost my Scripts which were available in the earlier update.

I have similar issue as Chris and Abdullah. I can not open any items. At first one folder open regardless which item I clicked. This feature where set to work on one click on empty space, but now on all items. I disabled the setting for desktop and now no item will open:(

I’m on 12.5b3 and got problems on open apps in panel, icons with hold and swipe gestures. Simple tap works like hold. And if no hold is set a normal tap launches the item menu. ?

Bogdan Tautu there is no flat list but tapping on the “+” icon in the binding edit dialog will display an expandable list with available variables.

Pierre Hébert I read your post after clean I install and when I tried killing the app nothing has changed, working fine.
However, I tried restoring my backup and the same issue has happened again even after killing the app.
Should I make a clean install for b4 or wait for some advice from you.

Bidule truc Go to Desktop Settings > Wallpaper > Change the desktop wallpaper… to set the color and then right under that there is an option Position which needs to be Fit width and height.

You might also try clearing the cache for play services and services framework. I had a crazy play store issue and had to clear all 3 of them to fix it.
